BMW M5 Touring

The exterior of the BMW M5 Touring.

Power that builds up from within: the sporting proportions of the BMW M5 Touring result from its ability to perform. The V10 high-rev engine breathes in freely through air vents at the front and side and out through four chrome-plated stainless steel exhaust pipes. Flaps on the bumpers and rear diffuser help to transfer the tremendous power of the engine reliably to the road. The BMW M5 Touring keeps the promises that its shape makes.

The interior of the BMW M5 Touring.

The versatile character of the BMW M5 Touring is also reflected in its interior, with the typical M-style details creating a fascinating atmosphere. Savour, for instance, the signature layout of the instrument panel, subtly enhanced by illuminated, white scale rings and red needles, and the exclusive luxury of Merino leather upholstery. M seats for perfect support and the M steering wheel with gear-change keys provide sports-style ergonomics. After all, why shouldn’t a sports car be an estate?

The V10 high-rev engine in the BMW M5 Touring.

The letter M stands for the phenomenal qualities of this engine: 507 hp (373 kW) from 5 litres of displacement, 520 Nm maximum torque at 6,100 rpm. Press the accelerator gently and the V10 high-rev engine responds with instant power. It takes just 4.8 seconds for the BMW M5 Touring to go from 0 to 100 km/h, and just ten seconds more to reach 200 km/h - a total of 14.8 seconds is all the M5 Touring needs to set a new standard in engine performance.

The intelligent safety system in the BMW M5 Touring.

Sports-style driving requires exceptional safety. Of central importance in the M5 Touring’s comprehensive protection package: driver, front passenger, side and head airbags. All airbags are controlled by the perfectly calibrated safety electronics system – this intelligent coordinator ensures that each bag is inflated to the correct degree to minimise the effects of an impact. The same system can also activate the seat belt tensioners, deactivate the central locking or cut the fuel pump’s activity.

The M Drive function on the BMW M5 Touring.

M Drive enables drivers to configure the BMW M5 Touring’s principal functions to suit their individual preferences. These include Digital Motor Electronics (DME), the sequential M transmission with Drivelogic, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), Electronic Damper Control (EDC), the Head-Up Display and the active backrest function of the M multifunctional seat. A single touch of the M Drive button on the steering wheel activates the preselected settings - for exceptionally comfortable or exceptionally dynamic driving.

BMW 6 Coupe

The exterior of the BMW 6 Series Coupé.

With its long bonnet and wheelbase and low, flowing roofline, the BMW 6 Series Coupé has the proportions of a classic Gran Turismo Coupé. The dynamic front end angles down purposefully at the road, and the rest of the car follows suit. The side panel fold creates highlights that run parallel to the tarmac, while the muscular rear end underlines the close connection between the car and the road.

The interior of the BMW 6 Series Coupé.

The dynamic contours of the exterior continue throughout the interior of the BMW 6 Series Coupé. The composition of clear lines and fascinating areas creates a dynamic sense of harmony. Perfect ergonomics and premium materials provide functionality and exclusivity you can enjoy with all your senses. As for practicality, the BMW 6 Series Coupé is a genuine 2+2 seater with a generous boot to match.

The six-speed Sport Automatic Transmission
in the BMW 6 Series Coupé.

Take the power into your own hands with the six-speed Sport Automatic Transmission. Choose automatic mode for supremely precise automatic gearshifts, or switch to manual mode for motorsports-style gear changes. Use the paddles shifters mounted on the steering wheel or enjoy the precise feedback offered by the gear selector lever introduced exclusively for this special transmission. Pressing the Sports button makes the entire shift.

The straight six-cylinder diesel engine
in the BMW 635d.

The straight-six diesel engine in the 635d uses Common Rail direct injection, four-valve technology and a two-stage turbocharger to unleash 210 kW (286 hp) of power and a maximum torque of 580 Nm. Its enormous thrust explains the car’s exceptional sprinting qualities, and powers the Coupé from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.3 seconds.

The straight six-cylinder petrol engine
in the BMW 630i.

The straight six in the BMW 630i offers all the performance you’d expect from a three litre, 200 kW (272 hp) engine, and more besides. It’s not just the relaxed smoothness and sporting elasticity, or the efficiency of its High Precision Injection system. It’s the passion that drove us to develop this engine. Whether you’re accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.2 seconds or cruising along a ribbon of coastal tarmac, that passion is always at your command.

Intelligent lightweight construction on the
BMW 6 Series Coupé.

For any given component of a vehicle, there's a particular material which is ideally suited. That's why we use both aluminium and steel in the construction of the BMW 6 Series Coupé. The double wishbone front suspension and integral aluminium rear suspension are made almost entirely out of aluminium. This reduces weight and ensures an even distribution of load between the front and rear axles, a key factor in the car's outstanding agility.

BMW Night Vision on the BMW 6 Series Coupé.
Driving at dusk or at night has now become safer. The optional feature of BMW Night Vision reduces the stress of trying to see people or animals in poor light by locating them with an infra-red camera and showing the image on the Control Display. With a range of up to 300 metres, Night Vision can pick up thermal radiation beyond the reach of the headlight beams, giving you more time to react and enhancing your safety. So nighttime drives are even more relaxed.

Head-Up Display in the BMW 6 Series Coupé. An optional feature in the BMW 6 Series Coupé, Head-Up Display presents important information directly in the driver's viewing field. A unit in the dashboard projects the data onto the windscreen as a clear, easy-to-read image, adjusted for ambient light conditions, with a focal point just above the bonnet. This means that information can be read faster, and driver's attention is never distracted from the road ahead.

The most exclusive way to drive a BMW 6 Series Coupé.

Allow your BMW 6 Series Coupé to develop its own individual character by adapting it to meet your personal needs. As you create a style that is unique as you are you'll appreciate even more all of the qualities that are hard to perceive at first sight: the exceptional, the rare, the truly individual. Exclusivity that is reflected in every detail.

Peugeot 308 CC

The 308 CC stands out by the superb fluidity of its style, both in its coupé and cabriolet configurations. From the badge to the end of the roof, from the door to the lower rear panel, the graphic style of its profile is emphasised by light reflecting contours. Chrome detailing further enhances this elegant profile.

Low slung and firmly planted on its wheels, the 308 CC has a prominent shape and spectacular LED rear lights that use “red light curtain” technology to create a unique signature for the car by day and by night. The passenger compartment has an undeniable personality. Particularly striking in the “cabriolet” version, it has a different feel from the hatchback and creates the impression of a grand touring car.

The sculpted front seats with their integral head restraints have inbuilt Airwave which diffuse warm air around the occupants neck. The rear seats mirror this distinctive design and offer rear accommodation surprisingly generous for a cabriolet.

The door panels also have an exclusive design, incorporating an elegant yet dynamic and robust metallic inner door handle. The sporty steering wheel, the special finish of the instrument panel and the “black lacquer” centre console complete this theme.

In terms of the “sporty” “haute couture” feel of the car, the 308 CC is clothed with dynamic fabrics, simple leather or even an “integral leather” trim. This now extends to the entire passenger compartment which is usually unseen in this segment. In Black, Vintage or Beige, the attractive interior trims differ according to the range of body colours: Fashionable pearlescent black, subtle “terre d’ombre” and also the established favourites: blue, red, black and grey are available.

Audi sportback concept

Audi unveiled the Sportback concept car at the 2009 North American International Automobile Show. With systematic refinements to the brand’s characteristic design elements, the five-door model offers a glimpse at the Audi's future design vocabulary. With its pronounced coupé-like silhouette and large rear hatch the Audi Sportback concept is boldly progressive for the luxury class.

As its name suggests, the Audi Sportback concept is a variation on the theme first defined in the Audi range by the A3 Sportback with its combination of sleek sports hatch styling and five-door versatility, and signals the brand's intention - as previously demonstrated by the A1 Sportback concept – to dramatically expand its line-up of Sportback models.
